September 1, 2020 – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District awarded ORCOM a $6.6 Million project at White Sands Missile Range.

White Sands Missile Range is the Army’s Largest Installation and open-air Range with 2.2 Million Acres. The installation houses Research, Development, Test, Evaluation (RDT&E), experimentation and training facilities.[1] The project is to renovate and repair a Special Weapons Assembly Facility. We will be upgrading the facility to provide required space and ensure compliance with current explosive standards. This will entail upgrading the facility’s crane hoists, electrical systems, grounding systems, compressed air system, HVAC and humidity control system, plumbing, lightning protection, lighting, roof, and plumbing. ORCOM will also be renovating the interior to include walls, floors, and ceilings. We will be installing a new fire suppression and fire alarm systems as well as eye wash stations and chemical showers. ORCOM will also enclose a Portico with both vehicle and personnel access doors. This enclosure will include new electrical outlets and HVAC.
